Ok, so I went to my institute class today and we learned about promptings of the spirit. Something that my teacher said really stuck with me because I thought it was cute and interesting so I thought I would blog share it. He said that most of us think that a "burning in your bosom" is supposed to feel like a bonfire. That this feeling of fire is supposed to consume our entire being. And while this does happen it is not always or often the case. For most of us the burning is equivalent to that of a birthday candle. And we need to always do our best to be in tune with the spirit so that when our birthday candle is blazing with all its little birthday candle might, we will be able to feel it. It is kind of the same thing, in my mind, of the spirit being a still small voice. He is not going to force us to listen to him but he will always give us the option. I just thought that this was a nice thought so take it or leave it. :)
