What happened to my summer?

Well it happened. Summer is officially, well in my book, over. It went by in a blur of excitement and fun. You can ask my mother if you don't believe me but I don't think that I was home on time once this summer. There was just so much going on! I loved it. But all good things must come to an end; and they did. School has started and its back to Weber State for me. whooooohoooooo. Well let me tell you some things that I did over the summer. First, I went to Nauvoo!!!! It was spectacular!!! Absolutely amazing. I went with a group of YSA's there were like 60 of us. It was so much fun and such a great learning growing experience. We went to historical Nauvoo, the temple, Carthage jail, went to a sweet cemetery, saw the Nauvoo Pageant, walked the trail of tears, and I got in the Mississippi River. It was so cool! I'll let the pictures show you.
They gave us bricks that say Nauvoo.
The Beautiful Nauvoo Temple with some beautiful girls.
Carthage Jail
This is at the Quarry
Historical Nauvoo! The Missionaries were sooooooo Cute!!!!

Our shirts say Mormon Dude on them :) we all bought them for the plane ride home because they were really funny.
The TEMPLE!!!!!
Caleb and I in the Mississippi River. It was surprisingly warm.
Kiley and I walking the Trail of Tears.
We went to the cemetery to help us remember that Nauvoo is about real people and the sacrifices that they went through.
I am so grateful that I had the chance to go to Nauvoo. It is an amazing place with such a strong spirit. It was an amazing testimony builder. I hated coming home and leaving, and I think that if it were not for the humidity I would probably have stayed. :) OH haha random side note. Going on this trip was my first time riding in an airplane. It was awesome haha even the part where I did NOT make it through security! I had to have a pat down right there in the airport!!!! hahahahahh best day ever. :)
